If You Were Mine

If you were mine I would hold my breath forever To have you listen to my heart beat only for you Sounding the depth of your soul Surging in darkness, wanting to make you whole, The roar of caged wilfulness Restless, pacing, to be set free if you fly on the wind To follow you into eternity So you could listen to my heart Once again.
