A poet is a writer however defined:

po-et  po′ it   n.  1. A writer of poems   2. One who is especially gifted in the perception and expression of the beautiful and lyrical.

Persons who write in verse lyrical or otherwise  might also be called a poetess,  bard, poetaster,  rhymer,  bardess, or even  rhymester.  (Rhymeister?)    An inferior poet, or poet of 'lesser poetry'  is called a poetaster, why not just a bad bard or  poetdisaster? That's what this page is about. Poetry in all it's rhythm, rhyme, poetic perfection and enchanting prose that may or may not be considered poetry by some.  Take a look and decide for yourself.  Savour the flow of words as they cross the heart. Enjoy.  We keep saying that, don't we?FacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmailFacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail
